A leading investor and developer is seeking an

Associate Director, Project Finance

to join its Melbourne team. The business invests in and develops major projects across

social infrastructure, broader infrastructure, transport, energy and real assets . This is a confidential prospect suited to someone who enjoys complex transactions, major bids and large-scale debt structuring. The role will suit candidates with strong experience across

project finance, infrastructure finance, structured finance, senior debt lending or debt advisory . We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates from banks who have worked on large, complex debt transactions involving major assets, government-backed projects, contracted revenues or long-term infrastructure-style cash flows. This is not a pure modelling role. The successful candidate will be expected to bring commercial judgement, transaction discipline and creative thinking to complex financing scenarios. Key responsibilities

Leading debt and equity workstreams across major projects and transactions Structuring project financing solutions across complex assets Working with banks, lenders, advisers,



contractors, clients and capital partners Supporting risk allocation discussions and assessing the impact on financing structures Negotiating complex financial and commercial terms Reviewing financial models and transaction documentation Supporting bid processes and broader origination activity Contributing to business development and external relationship management The position description specifically references project financing, debt and equity workstreams, PPP bid processes, risk allocation, financial institutions, swaps, financial instruments, model review and complex commercial structuring.
