Midcoast Truck Bodies, part of the Midcoast Trucks Group, is seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to join our growing Body Manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on premium truck bodies, HIAB vehicle-mounted cranes and specialised equipment while developing highly sought-after industry skills through manufacturer-supported training and ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities
Install, wire and commission electrical systems on truck bodies and specialised equipment
Install and commission HIAB vehicle-mounted cranes
Fit lighting, PTO controls,



safety systems and accessories
Diagnose and rectify electrical faults
Read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical drawings
Complete testing and quality inspections
Work collaboratively with fabrication, hydraulic and mechanical teams

About You
Experience with heavy vehicles, trucks or mobile plant preferred
Robust diagnostic and fault-finding skills
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Positive attitude and team-focused approach
Current Australian Driver’s Licence (HR licence advantageous)
