They’re seeking a Lead AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and delivery of production-grade AI solutions - combining technical leadership with hands-on engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of end-to-end AI solutions
Build and deploy LLM-powered systems (RAG, agents, orchestration)
Develop scalable APIs, services, and data pipelines
Design retrieval and ranking systems for accurate outputs
Establish AI evaluation, testing, and quality frameworks
Drive LLMOps practices (monitoring, performance, optimisation)
Ensure solutions are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient
Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership

Skills & Experience




Proven experience building production-grade software systems
Robust hands-on experience with LLMs / GenAI technologies
Expertise in backend development (APIs, microservices, data systems)
Experience with RAG, prompt design, or agent-based workflows
Strong understanding of system performance, scalability, and reliability
Experience with AI evaluation and quality improvement
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Nice to Have
Experience with search / retrieval systems or vector databases
Knowledge of AI cost optimisation techniques
Exposure to secure or data-sensitive environments
Background in SaaS or data-rich platforms
