The Opportunity

Our client is a privately owned, growing manufacturing business based in Melbourne’s South eastern suburbs. They offer a supportive and collaborate environment, and reputation for being people-first and performance-focused.

You’ll grow with the business and have the autonomy to take ownership of the day-to-day finance operations for a defined portion of the business.

The Challenge

Reporting to the General Manager Finance,your key responsibilities will include:
Assist with month-end close activities, including preparing journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain accurate financial records and support data entry into the accounting system
Perform daily bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
Support with accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliation




Support foreign currency hedging activities and the processing of FX payments
Maintain the general ledger and ensure all financial records are up-to-date
Assist the broader finance team with ad-hoc month-end tasks

The Expertise

Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, or related field
You have recently completed or are part way through yourCA or CPA studies.
You have minimum 3 years working experience either in a broad accounting role or at an accounting firm. Manufacturing or FMCG industry experience advantageous.
You are familiar with working within a multi-entity/currency setting.
You are detail oriented with a high attention to detail
You are a confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
You possess a robust willingness to learn and bring a positive, can-do attitude to the team
