Protech are currently seeking anExperienced Civil Leading Hand to join a growing team working across major civil projects throughout the Gold Coast. This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate with animmediate start available .

ABOUT THE ROLE
Leading earthworks crews across civil construction projects
Full-time hours (casual) with overtime opportunities available
Competitive hourly rates based on experience
Ongoing project work with long-term opportunities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and lead civil earthworks crews on site
Coordinate daily tasks and work schedules
Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification
Operate civil plant and equipment where required
Read and interpret construction plans and project specifications
Liaise with Supervisors, Project Managers, and subcontractors
Maintain high safety, quality, and environmental standards




Provide hands‑on support to the crew as required

TICKETS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Proven experience as a Civil Leading Hand is essential
Solid civil earthworks experience
Construction White Card
Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport
Machinery tickets and VOCs highly regarded
Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity on site
Solid commitment to workplace health and safety

Must be able to pass D&A; testing and a pre-employment medical.
