Parkes District Hospitals is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join its Emergency Department on a contract basis. This is an chance to work in a energetic acute care setting in Parkes, NSW, providing emergency triage and patient assessment. Lead ED triage operations with responsibility for shift coordination and patient flow

Preferred Requirements




Demonstrated experience working in an emergency department, particularly in triage
Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification
Proven ability to work in charge of the shift and manage competing priorities
Strong clinical assessment skills and sound decision-making in high-acuity settings
Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated expertise in emergency nursing
Familiarity with the Australasian Triage Scale and electronic medical record systems
