Orange Base Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Virtual/Telehealth Mental Health team on a 19-week contract running from August through December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver mental health care in a versatile, technology-enabled environment while based in Orange, NSW. Working 12-hour shifts, you'll earn between AUD$45.00 and AUD$60.00 per hour, providing direct clinical support to patients accessing mental health services remotely.

Preferred Requirements
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia




Experience in mental health nursing or demonstrated knowledge of mental health assessment and care
Comfort and competence using telehealth platforms and electronic health records
Strong communication skills, particularly in a virtual care context where non-verbal cues are limited
Ability to work autonomously and manage a caseload across 12-hour shifts

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration
Post-graduate qualification or certification in mental health nursing
Previous experience in telehealth or remote patient care delivery
