Job Description

We're looking for a client-side Project Manager with experience in Defence, Education, Government, Health, or a related field to join our team in Cairns. At RPS, you'll be part of work that really matters — helping shape communities, influence outcomes, and contribute to important government and private sector projects.

If you have a background in building and construction, infrastructure, contract management or administration, government approvals, or something similar, we'd love to hear from you. You'll be joining a high-performing team that's known for delivering large, complex projects and making a real impact.

What You'll Bring

/n

/n
4+ years of demonstrated recent construction project experience with Education, Government, Health or Defence sectors with client project experience desirable.

/n
Qualified qualifications in project management, architectural, engineering, construction management or similar.

/n
A good understanding and proven experience in managing construction contracts and contract administration, with managing contractor contract experience is highly desirable.

/n




Good client and stakeholder management, as well as leadership skills.

/n
Well-developed spoken and reporting/ writing skills with strong competence in computer software including the ability to use the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with Microsoft Project desirable.

/n
Excellent time management skills and attention to detail.

/n
Completed construction site health and safety course.

/n
AIPM Certified Practising Project Manager certification or equivalent would be viewed favourably.
