Dental Receptionist / Trainee Dental Assistant - Queanbeyan Location

Comprehensive Dental Care is seeking a friendly, organised and customer-focused person to join our team.

The main focus of this position is dental reception, including welcoming patients, managing appointments, answering enquiries, processing payments and supporting the smooth daily operation of the practice.

We are also open to applicants interested in starting as a Trainee Dental Assistant, with the opportunity to develop into a Dental Receptionist, Dental Assistant or combined role based on performance, skills and practice requirements.

Welcoming patients in a qualified and friendly manner

Managing appointments and patient enquiries

Answering telephone calls and emails

Processing payments and HICAPS claims

Maintaining accurate patient records

Supporting the clinical and administrative team

Assisting with basic dental assisting duties where required

About you

/n

/n
Previous reception, customer service, administration or healthcare experience

/n
Solid communication and organisational skills

/n
Friendly, professional and reliable

/n
Confident using computers and learning current systems

/n
Able to work well in a busy team environment

/n
Full Australian working rights

/n/n

Dental experience, HICAPS knowledge or a Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded but is not essential for a trainee applicant.
