THE POSITION - AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

/n

Are you the Best? Do you deliver Month on Month? Do you strive for continual improvement? Reporting to the Workshop Manager, you will be responsible for a range of engine and mechanical tests to diagnose, repair and service vehicles.

/n

This role offers you the chance to work in a clean and modern workshop with 33 workshop bays and 50 technicians. Our technicians work with Toyota, Mazda, Hyundai and Isuzu Genuine Parts and enjoy regular manufacturer and in-house training,



as well as access to up to the minute online data to ensure they remain experts in their field.

DUTIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to):

Providing expert advice about the mechanical condition of vehicles

/n
Repairing mechanical parts of vehicles such as engine, transmission & suspension systems

/n
Providing guidance to apprentice technicians

/n
Test driving & conducting final assessments

/n
Working in a Productive and Productive Manner at all times

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

/n

/n
Minimum of Certificate 3 Automotive Light Vehicle

/n
Experience with all necessary aspects of vehicle mechanisms and systems

/n
Engine, drive train, chassis & electrical experience

/n
Strong diagnostic skills & attention to detail

/n
Ability to work unsupervised

/n
Current manual driver's licence

/n
Wheel alignment experience preferred

/n/n

Experience in service & repair of Mazda / Hyundai / Toyota vehicles in a Dealership would be preferred.
