About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Client Services Officers to join our team in part time positions.
Reporting to the Patient Services Supervisor your will be part of our frontline support call centre team offering professional and friendly assistance to patients, Doctors and medical professionals by providing accurate information, scheduling patient appointments, and assisting to resolve enquiries.
This team manages all incoming calls to support pathology results, bookings, and general enquiries, representing our brand and image to the local community using empathy and drive to deliver excellent customer service.
The roster covers shifts between the hours of 7:00am to 6:00pm Monday – Friday and 8:00am to 4:00pm Saturday.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Answering client enquiries and schedule bookings from medical professionals and patients for pathology specimen collection services at Clinpath Collection Centres, domiciliary visits and hospital visits;
Administrative tasks relating to laboratories results management, patient bookings and collections/appointments management;
Professional service delivery - provide a positive first impression and experience to all internal and external client enquiries and apply first call resolution where applicable; and
Provide medical practitioners with pathology results.
Troubleshoot matters and provide first line assistance to clients, medical professionals and other stakeholders.
Efficiently manage competing priorities between incoming calls and administration tasks
Excellent attention to detail and strong time management skills
To be successful you will have:
Demonstrated superior customer service skills
Experience in a health and/or medical industry with medical terminology experience (desirable but not essential)
A polished and skilled telephone manner with excellent verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible work environment with the ability to prioritise




Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
The ability to be an active listener with excellent attention to detail
High level of confidentiality and the ability to work calmly under pressure
The ability to meet individual KPI's and follow quality systems, procedures, and documentation requirements
Professional working proficiency in Microsoft Office and other Computer competencies including the willingness to learn new systems
Ability to adapt to change, be able to work with a dynamic team and have a positive 'can do' attitude
A passion to learn and develop
