Senior / Principal Civil EngineerAbout the company
This is an opportunity for a Senior / Principal Civil Engineer to join a respected multidisciplinary consultancy with a growing Queensland presence and a strong pipeline of civil engineering work.
The business delivers built environment, council, residential and commercial projects, from smaller private developments through to larger civil infrastructure and public sector works.

About the role
This role is ideal for a strong Senior Civil Engineer ready to step into a Principal Civil Engineer position, or an existing Principal Engineer seeking more influence, flexibility and future growth.
You will lead civil engineering projects, manage and maintain clients, mentor engineers and help grow the local project pipeline across Queensland.
Projects include small to large built environment works across council, residential, commercial, land development and civil infrastructure sectors.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead civil engineering design and project delivery Manage council, residential,



commercial and built environment projects Build and maintain strong client relationships Mentor engineers and support team development Project manage work from planning through to construction Support business development and recent project opportunities Provide technical guidance and review Requirements for this role: Degree qualification in Civil Engineering Solid experience as a Senior Civil Engineer or Principal Civil Engineer Built workplace, land development or civil infrastructure experience Experience with council, residential or commercial projects Strong client-facing and project management skills Ability to mentor engineers and work collaboratively Queensland project experience or strong local networks RPEQ preferred, but not essential This is a genuine step-up prospect for a Senior Civil Engineer who wants more responsibility, more client exposure and a pathway into Principal Civil Engineer leadership, without sacrificing flexibility or work-life balance.At Found People, we treat all applications with strict confidentiality.
