You will collaborate with skilled multidisciplinary clinicians who value growth, respect and patient centred outcomes.
• Work in a high performing Speech Pathology service with strong leadership• Collaborate with experienced allied health and medical teams• Access ongoing learning, supervision and career development• Contribute to research, service improvement and innovation• Experience a culture that values inclusion, wellbeing and excellence What you'll be doing You will provide advanced assessment and treatment for adults with communication and swallowing disorders, delivering high quality patient centred care across WSLHD services.
• Deliver evidence-based assessment and therapy for speech and swallowing• Manage complex caseloads across hospital, home and virtual care settings• Develop care plans, coordinate referrals and support multidisciplinary care• Supervise students and clinicians while supporting education and research• Contribute to service evaluation,

Essential CriteriaQualification: Tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology Registration: Eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia Selection CriteriaTertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia; with advanced competency and experience demonstrated in the management of adults with acquired swallowing disorders, and communication impairments.Actively practices the principles of Evidence Based Practice and engages in professional development for relevant clinical areas with strong experience in quality management or research.High-level written and oral communication skills, computer competence and ability to use electronic medical records, word processing and database.Prior experience in the provision of clinical supervision and training of staff and/or students and an understanding of service co-ordination, evaluation, planning and development .
Demonstrated ability to work with consumers,



families and carers in a time of high levels of family stress.Proven advanced communication and leadership skills with the ability to work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team.
