Where you'll be workingYou'll join the renal service at Manning Hospital in Taree – a riverside location known for its strong community spirit on the beautiful Barrington Coast between mountains and ocean.
Our passionate team of ***** diverse Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) delivers patient-centred care across 22 chairs in three units: the Nita Reed Renal Unit (10-bed outpatient/community space), Foster Satellite Unit (6-bed service for stable dialysis patients), and Level 3 Dialysis Ward.
With a warm, inclusive culture celebrating milestones through afternoon teas, this energetic team values each other and their patients – all with no night shifts.
About the roleAs Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) Level 1 – you'll provide clinical leadership across the three dialysis units, working closely with the NUM Level 3 and Renal Coordinator.
You'll ensure high-quality, well-planned patient care that meets current nursing standards and Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) policies, while efficiently managing clinical operations, resources, staff coordination, audits and budget on a shift-by-shift basis.You'll feel confident from day one with strong leadership support from the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs) and Nurse Unit Managers (NUMs), plus buddying with senior RNs,
