An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Senior Occupational Therapist Level 3 to join the Penrith Community Mental Health Team.
This role provides high-level clinical Occupational Therapy services to consumers with complex mental health needs, while offering professional leadership, clinical supervision, and service development within a multidisciplinary team.Working in a recovery-oriented, community-based setting,



you will support consumers to achieve meaningful occupational outcomes and promote independence, participation, and wellbeing.

Demonstrated capabilities for recovery-oriented practice and high level of knowledge, skills and clinical expertise for occupational therapy service provision in a mental health setting.Demonstrated experience in leadership, provision of clinical supervision, and experience in the supervision of undergraduate occupational therapy students.Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to manage a complex caseload with competing priorities.Demonstrated ability to design and implement innovative, evidence- based individual and group interventions to support people with persistent and severe mental health problems.Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and effective time management skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
