The Production Scientist is responsible for participating in the routine and on call activities relating to tissue assessment and preparation for transplantation by the NSW Tissue Bank.
In particular this position works to ensure that all tissue assessment and manufacturing processes accord with the Bank's internal protocols and procedures and thereby adhere with the requirements of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), Therapeutic Goods Orders (TGO's) and the Biological Framework which are administered by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
The Production Scientist will contribute to maintaining control of the analytical environment of the Bank, including environmental sampling, monitoring and trending, decontamination cleaning,
critical material handling and associated tasks and validations to ensure the facility is maintained in a state of readiness for manufacturing processes.

Selection Criteria:Relevant tertiary qualifications at a minimum of a Bachelor level in Science or an associated DisciplineAbility to interpret and apply standards and guidelines and demonstrated adherence to complex policies and proceduresMaintain GMP compliance through repeatable protocols and thorough documentationDemonstrated high quality organisational skills and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to work as part of a team, collaboratively prioritise work and undertake tasks independently ensuring targets and shared outputs are achievedEffective interpersonal skillsDemonstrated verbal and written communication including standard computer applications.Holds an unrestricted driver's licence Need more information?
