Location: Nerang, QLDDuration: 6-12 MonthsPositions Available: 2Start Date: ASAPPay Rate: $***** - $***** per hour + Casual Loading (dependent on skills and experience)An exciting opportunity is available for two Project Systems Representatives - Quality to join a leading civil construction team based at our Nerang Depot.
This role is ideal for an experienced civil construction professional looking to expand their career into quality systems, or an undergraduate/graduate Engineer seeking valuable hands-on experience in the civil construction industry (who is not currently participating in a graduate programme).
Please note: Applicants must reside within a 30-minute radius of the Nerang Depot.
About the Role Working across major civil construction projects, you will play an important role in supporting quality assurance processes and ensuring works are completed in accordance with project specifications.
This position offers a balance of approximately 60% office-based work and 40% field work, providing exposure to both project administration and in office construction activities.
Comprehensive mentoring and on-the-job training will be provided to support your development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and maintaining project quality systems.
Interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
Complete quality documentation and specification checklists.
Conduct site inspections and support quality assurance activities.
Liaise effectively with project teams and site personnel.
Utilise technology, including iPads and electronic quality management systems.
Support compliance with project quality procedures and documentation requirements.
About You You will ideally possess:



A minimum of 5 years' industry field experience in civil construction (preferred).
Civil construction experience, with road construction experience highly regarded.
A Certificate III qualification or higher (desirable but not essential).
Alternatively, we encourage applications from: Undergraduate or graduate Engineers looking to gain practical civil construction experience who are not currently participating in a graduate programme.
To be successful, you will also have: Strong communication and written skills.
Confidence using technology, including tablets/iPads.
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
A genuine interest in quality systems and continuous improvement.
A willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team environment.
Essential Requirements Construction White Card.
Current C Class Driver Licence.
Ability to successfully pass a National Police Check.
Desirable First Aid Certificate.
Certificate III or higher qualification.
Previous experience in road construction projects.
