About the roleWe are seeking a skilled and confident Registered Nurse with experience in Emergency or an acute care setting who is interested in joining our supportive rural Emergency Department team.In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care to adult and paediatric patients across a wide range of emergency presentations.
Working in a energetic and fast-paced environment, you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients receive exceptional care during critical moments.Your strong clinical judgement, ability to prioritise under pressure and commitment to person-centred care will be essential in supporting patients and their families through emergency situations.
You will also provide leadership within the team by delegating care to Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing according to their scope of practice, while maintaining a strong focus on safe, effective patient outcomes.
About youWe're looking for someone who demonstrates:Experience in Emergency or acute nursingA commitment to ongoing learning and professional developmentStrong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skillsA compassionate and patient-focused approachThe ability to work a 7-day rotating roster,



including nights and public holidaysPreferred:Certification in Advanced Life Support (ALS) for adult and paediatric patientsTriage certification (ETEK), or currently working towards itEmergency or acute care experience is essential to ensure you can confidently perform rapid patient assessment, prioritise care effectively and respond to urgent clinical situations.
