Employment Type: Temporary Part Time Until June ****Position Classification: Occupational Therapist Level 3Remuneration: $***** - $***** per hour plus SuperannuationHours Per Week: 8Requisition ID: REQ******Application Close: 10 May ****REQ****** - St George Hospital - Senior Lymphoedema Clinician - Level 3The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated clinician to join our established Lymphoedema service, delivering high-quality care to patients living with Lymphoedema.In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver advanced clinical services, applying specialised knowledge and expertise in lymphoedema management.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure care is consistent with NSW Health and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) policies, procedures, and standards.Key responsibilities include implementing pre- and post-surgical screening for appropriate patients, delivering preventative interventions, and contributing to best-practice care within our Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy Lymphoedema service.
The role also includes responsibilities for clinical supervision, leading quality improvement initiatives, delivering education to other healthcare professionals, and supporting the teaching of students on clinical placement.This is a part-time position of 8 hours per week, available until June ****.If you are passionate about improving patient outcomes and advancing lymphoedema care, we encourage you to apply.BenefitsSalary packaging options that reduce your taxable income and increase your take-home pay!

for employees and family members.Discounted Private Health Insurance.Selection CriteriaQualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and current registration with AHPRA and demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional learning.Extensive post graduate clinical experience in Lymphoedema or transferrable skills.Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.Demonstrated ability to provide high level clinical advice, education and support to others in providing service excellence.Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent qualified judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes.Demonstrated active participation in developing, implementing, and reporting on services.Current drivers licence and willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.Need more information?
