Ongoing Full-Time opportunity Location: Parramatta (50% office attendance required) Competitive remuneration ranging from $129,464 to $142,665 plus super & annual leave loading About the role The Senior Programs Officer role is within Early Childcare Outcomes and is responsible for providing support, advice and operation of performance and accountability functions for education funding.
The role delivers assurance, risk management, reporting, acquittal and audit functions for early childhood education grant funding programs, as well as a range of other grant programs across the division.
The responsibilities involve: Providing timely, well-researched advice on assurance and funding compliance to support risk management and accountability Coordinating and overseeing compliance programs, including planning, analysis and reporting, aligned with government requirements Analysing data to identify risks, trends and issues, and deliver evidence-based recommendations Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships to resolve funding accountability matters effectively Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance, risk management and program delivery Supporting the design and refinement of systems, controls and solutions Contributing to a strategic, risk-based approach to compliance activities Preparing briefings, reports and correspondence to support Directorate operations For further information please click here to view the role description About you - Demonstrate strong communication skills to work effectively with a range of stakeholders Experience working in a high-volume environment Strong organisational skills to manage competing priorities Strong Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Essential requirements of the role Relevant qualification in Commerce, Accounting or Business,



and/ or relevant years' experience.
A valid Working with Children Check for paid employment.
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
