Our core products collate critical workplace and academic data, directly contributing to helping apprentices complete their qualifications successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will design and develop quality software products and solutions tailored for the Electrotechnology and vocational education sector, with a specific focus on on-the-job profiling applications.Your day-to-day will involve:Analysis & Design: Understanding vocational education profiling business and customer requirements to drive the architecture of technical solutions.Full Lifecycle Development: Participating actively in all phases of the product development lifecycle.Cloud Infrastructure: Maintaining and monitoring EC2 servers, RDS, DynamoDB, CodeDeploy, AWS Bedrock and other AWS services.Innovation: Researching and incorporating new technologies and tools to constantly enhance the product development process.Documentation & Testing: Assisting in the creation of product user manuals, technical requirements, and robust testing plans.Compliance: Adhering strictly to the customer's established approval processes.What We Are Looking ForThe ideal candidate brings a blend of industry insight and deep technical expertise.
To step into this role seamlessly, you should have:Industry Expertise:



Extensive knowledge of the Electrotechnology profiling industry.Compliance: Extensive knowledge of profiling compliance and reporting requirements;Backend & Web Services: Extensive experience building web services (JSON, REST) using Java 21 and above, JSF, JPA, and EJB 3.0.AWS Ecosystem: Demonstrable and significant experience with AWS, including extensive, hands-on experience with DynamoDB, EC2,CodeDeploy and AWS BedrockDatabase Management: Proficiency in NoSQL (DynamoDB) alongside a strong understanding of normalised relational database concepts (MySQL), database structure design, and writing complex SQL.Quality Assurance & Git: Proven experience in Git, alongside a solid track record in test development and integration activities across various ICT systems, software applications, and interfaces.How to ApplyIf this sounds like the right next step for your career, please apply through this site by attaching your CV and cover letter.
