H2O Cafe Restaurant is a busy and established waterfront café restaurant located in Narrabeen on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
We operate 7 days a week across breakfast, lunch and dinner services.
We are looking for an experienced, confident and hands-on Café Restaurant Manager to join our team and take responsibility for the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue.
Weekend availability is essential for this role.
We are looking for someone who enjoys being on the floor, leads by example and can confidently manage a busy café restaurant setting while maintaining excellent customer service and a positive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day front-of-house operations
Lead, supervise and support the FOH team during service
Confidently manage busy breakfast, lunch and dinner services
Prepare and manage staff rosters
Recruit, train and develop team members
Maintain high standards of customer service
Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally
Manage reservations, group bookings and functions
Coordinate effectively with the kitchen and management team
Assist with stock control and ordering
Oversee opening and closing procedures
Maintain venue presentation, cleanliness and service standards
Monitor labour costs and support efficient venue operations
Ensure RSA,



food safety and workplace procedures are followed
About You
Previous café or restaurant management experience is essential
Weekend availability is essential
Strong leadership and communication skills
Confident managing busy services and leading a FOH team
Hands-on and willing to work alongside the team during service
Organised, reliable and able to work independently
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Experience with staff rostering and training
Current NSW RSA or ability to obtain one
Full working rights in Australia
Experience with POS systems, reservation platforms, functions and events will be highly regarded.
What We Offer
$80,000–$90,000 + superannuation, depending on experience
