You'll play a key role in delivering high‐quality anaesthetic and perioperative care while contributing to service development, teaching, and clinical governance.
As a Consultant Anaesthetist
Provide anaesthetic services across a broad case mix including:
General surgery
Orthopaedics
Obstetrics & gynaecology
Endoscopy and procedural lists
Dental and investigative services
Lead pre‐anaesthetic assessment clinics
Deliver care to high‐acuity patients, including HDU ward rounds
Provide advanced procedural care including airway management, ventilatory support, central venous access, and acute and perioperative pain management
Coordinate patient transfers with Retrieval Services Queensland
Participate in the on‐call and after‐hours roster
Contribute to clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement
Mentor and supervise junior doctors and medical students

Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) or equivalent
Eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA
