Curis Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation to recruit an Aboriginal Health Worker for their busy clinic based in Queensland.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a culturally safe organisation dedicated to improving health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through holistic, community-led healthcare.
Whether you are an experienced Aboriginal Health Worker or recently qualified, this organisation offers a supportive environment with ongoing mentoring, training and professional development opportunities.
Job Details
Permanent full-time position
Monday to Friday role – no weekends, nights or shift work
Above award salary
Salary packaging available to increase your take-home pay

In this role, you will support the delivery of culturally safe primary healthcare services and assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander clients to access healthcare and achieve improved health outcomes.
Working alongside GPs, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals and support services, you will contribute to health assessments,



care coordination, health promotion activities and community engagement programs.

Situated approximately 90 minutes west of Brisbane, it provides affordable living, excellent schools, beautiful parks and gardens and a strong sense of community.
To be eligible for this position you must:
Identify as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
Hold a Certificate III in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or be nearing completion
Have experience working within healthcare, aged care, disability or community services, or a genuine desire to build a career in Aboriginal health
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Hold a current Open C Class Driver Licence
Hold current CPR certification
Be able to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check
