The position is full time (37.5 hrs per week) with a 3 month probationary period, applications must have full work rights with no restrictions.
What You'll Be Doing • Perform testing, diagnostics, quality assurance, and normalization of telemetry devices including probes, microcontrollers, IoT devices, Nexus Blue, Wi-Fi Link devices, Bluetooth-enabled devices, and data loggers.
• Conduct batch testing of specified products and maintain accurate test records and quality assurance documentation.
• Test IoT devices, Nexus Blue, and Wi-Fi Link devices by using the Sentek mobile apps and PC Config Desktop app.
• Update config files and data loggers for telemetry probes to Irrimax Server.
• Load, configure, verify, and update firmware on telemetry devices and embedded systems to ensure optimal functionality.
• Diagnose technical faults and perform troubleshooting on IoT devices, Nexus Blue, and Wi-Fi Link devices.
• Test and validate Bluetooth probes, IoT devices, microcontrollers, and communication systems to ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Normalize and calibrate probes and sensors to ensure devices operate within specified measurement ranges and performance parameters.
• Investigate and resolve issues identified during testing, quality assurance, and normalization processes.
• Recommend and implement improvements to testing procedures,
quality assurance processes, and automation initiatives.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing and normalization systems.
• Provide technical support and training to internal teams as required.
• Assist with prototype testing, validation, and product development activities.
• Ensure compliance with ISO **** quality management standards and workplace safety requirements.
What We're Looking For • 2+ years of experience in testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance of Sentek telemetry devices, IoT devices, probes, microcontrollers, or electronic systems.
• 2+ years of experience in performing firmware loading, upgrades, validation, and device configuration of Sentek Products.
• 2+ years of experience with Sentek sensor calibration, probe normalization, and device verification processes.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills with the ability to troubleshoot with less supervision.
• Experience maintaining technical documentation, production records, and quality assurance reports.
• Understanding of automated testing processes and quality control methodologies.
• Knowledge of Windows batch files, scripts, and Python.
• Knowledge of Linux-based scripts for Wi-Fi Link testing and configuration.
• Familiarity with telemetry devices, Bluetooth communication systems, wireless technologies, and related telemetry devices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical reporting.
• Robust organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Understanding of ISO **** quality standards and workplace health and safety requirements.
Education: Bachelor of Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or any related ICT field.
