GMP Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facility
About the Opportunity
This is asite leadership role within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant, and uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure supporting tissue processing, manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution.
As theHSE Manager, you will take ownership of the site'sWork Health & Safety, environmental compliance, and facilities operations, ensuring full alignment withTGA, GMP, and WHS regulatory requirements.
You will play a key role in maintaining site integrity, enabling production continuity, and supporting a highly regulated healthcare manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
GMP Facility & Site Operations
Oversee maintenance and integrity of building systems including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, structural, and HVAC
Manage GMP-critical infrastructure including cleanrooms, environmental monitoring systems, and temperature-controlled storage
Lead preventative maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing operations
Coordinate contractors, vendors, and capital works projects across the site
Work Health & Safety Leadership
Lead the site WHS function, including risk management, hazard identification, and incident investigations
Maintain WHS management systems, policies, and compliance frameworks
Conduct audits, inspections, safety training, inductions, and toolbox talks
Chair WHS committee meetings and drive corrective and preventative actions
Site Services & Compliance
Manage waste streams including clinical and biohazard waste, pest control, cleaning, and security services
Ensure compliance with GMP, TGA, ISO,



and WHS regulatory requirements
Oversee facility budgets, supplier performance, and service contracts
Support utilities continuity and critical infrastructure resiliene
About YouYou are a hands-onFacilities, HSE, or Site Operations professionalwho thrives in regulated, high-compliance environments.
You are confident working across WHS, infrastructure, and contractor management in operational settings.
You will bring:
4+ years' experience in facilities, HSE, or site operations roles
Exposure to GMP, TGA, ISO, or other regulated environments (highly regarded)
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and incident management
Experience managing contractors, maintenance, and site services
Exposure to building systems, HVAC, or critical infrastructure (advantageous)
Relevant qualification in WHS, facilities, engineering, or related discipline
Car licence and flexibility for occasional out-of-hours support
