An immediate opportunity has become available for anAccounts Officer - Payroll & Accounts Payableto join their collaborative finance team on atemporary to permanentbasis.
Reporting to an exceptional CFO with an outstanding reputation for developing and supporting their team, you will join a close-knit finance function where people genuinely enjoy coming to work.

The Role
This is a hands-on position combining end-to-end payroll, accounts payable and general finance support within a supportive team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
End-to-end payroll processing for approximately 75 employees
Maintaining payroll records and responding to payroll enquiries
Processing end-to-end accounts payable
Matching, coding and processing supplier invoices
Weekly payment runs
Supplier statement reconciliations and query resolution
Employee expense reimbursements and corporate card administration
Assisting with month-end journals, reconciliations and reporting where appropriate
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc finance administration

The Successful Candidate

Accounts Officer
Payroll Officer
Assistant Accountant
Bookkeeper
Finance Officer
To be successful you will ideally possess:
Experience processing end-to-end payroll
Accounts payable experience from invoice through to payment runs
Robust attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
A proactive approach and willingness to support the broader finance team
Month-end experience will be viewed favourably but is not essential
