Permanent full-time leadership role
Salary Level CWT 8 - $107,567 per annum (FTE) plus superannuation and annual leave loading
9 day fortnight
Based in North Plympton with onsite parking
Are you an experienced Arboriculture worker with a proactive leadership style?
This is an excellent opportunity to provide hands on leadership to ensure the provision of effective, efficient and high-quality Arboriculture services to the community.
As the Work Group Leader Arboriculture, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring your team, fostering collaboration, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Key responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate daily operations within the team to ensure activities are within budget and the specified standard
Maintain appropriate records for labour, equipment and materials
Ensure high standards of quality and safety are maintained
Foster a positive, team-oriented and harmonious work environment
Undertake operational duties as required
We are looking for:
Significant experience in Arboriculture
Demonstrated capability in team leadership and mentoring
Effective decision making and task delegation skills
Proven ability to manage time and priorities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive approach to problem solving and teamwork
Who you are
If you have strong leadership skills with a strong work ethic, you could be the perfect fit for our City Operations team.
This role requires coordinating, scheduling,



and supervising the Arboriculture team and contractors, so a strong commitment to delivering works efficiently while promoting and modelling Work Health and Safety practices at all times is essential.
As each workday provides new challenges, you may also be required to undertake operational duties and liaise with community members where required.
You must also have the minimum essential qualifications and documents as per the following:
Diploma (or equivalent) in Arboriculture (or currently enrolled and studying towards one)
Drivers licence – minimum MR (Medium Rigid)
Temporary Traffic Management Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
National Police Clearance (within 6 months of issue or willingness to obtain throughout recruitment)
