An excellent opportunity for an experiencedTechnical Business Analystto join a key Queensland Government technology environment, working across complex ICT services, systems integration and business transformation.
This is a hands‐on technical BA role where you'll work closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand complex requirements, analyse systems and interfaces, and translate business needs into explicit, detailedbusiness and system requirements specifications.

What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical delivery, including:
Engaging with stakeholders to uncover and articulate high‐level business and technology needs
Analysing and translating requirements intodetailed business and system specifications
Working acrosssystem interfaces, integrations and third‐party solutions
Performingdata analysis, particularly around interfaces, integration anddata transformation
Analysing and documenting interface requirements and supporting reconciliation outputs
Undertaking detailedbusiness process modelling using BPMN
Assessing information system capabilities and recommending appropriate solution options
Building strong relationships across technical teams, business stakeholders, clients and vendors




Communicating complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‐technical audiences
What we're looking for
We're particularly interested in Technical BAs who can demonstrate:
Strong experience as aTechnical Business Analyst within complex ICT environments
Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills
Experience converting technical and business requirements into detailedbusiness/system requirements specifications
Strongsystems integration and interface analysisexperience
Hands‐on experience withdata analysis and data transformation
SignificantBPMN / business process modellingexperience
Strong analytical, research and problem‐solving capability
Experience evaluating technical information and identifying practical, cost‐effective solutions
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
