About the Role
We're seeking empathetic and resilient Support Specialists to work with individuals experiencing complex mental health needs, challenging behaviours, and/or cognitive decline.
Personal care & domestic assistance
Community access & transport
Supporting person-centred plans
Documentation & progress notes
Building strong relationships with participants & families
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate within a supportive team
Promote independent living skills
Foster social connections
Deliver creative, compassionate support
Complete shift notes & incident reports
Provide direct support with daily living activities
Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders
What You'll Need
Minimum 6 months of disability support experience
Experience in any area of disability support is acceptable for this role
NDIS Worker Screening Check or valid exemption
Current First Aid & CPR certification
First Aid and CPR certifications must be current and valid at the time of application
Reliable vehicle (travel reimbursed)
Valid work visa or Australian citizenship/permanent residency
Preferred Qualifications & Experience
Medication administration training (or willingness to obtain)
Manual handling training (or willingness to obtain)
Strong work ethic & team spirit
Understanding of NDIS confidentiality & documentation standards
Flexibility for 24/7 care including weekends, sleepovers & active nights
Experience supporting neurodiverse and psychosocial disabilities
