Job Description
We are seeking an experienced QE Lead ?
Mobile to lead quality engineering initiatives for mobile applications.
This role will be responsible for defining and driving the mobile testing strategy, ensuring high-quality releases across iOS and Android platforms, and leading a team of QA engineers in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Engineering Leadership
Define and implement the mobile testing strategy aligned with project goals and business objectives
Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities for mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Establish best practices for test planning, execution, automation, and reporting
Ensure quality gates are met before production releases
Drive automation strategy for mobile apps using tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar frameworks
Ensure adequate test coverage (functional, regression, integration, UI/UX)
Oversee manual and automated testing efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables
Handle device compatibility and cross-platform testing
Team Management




Lead and mentor a team of QE engineers across multiple locations
Drive resource planning, task allocation, and performance management
Collaborate with offshore/onshore teams to ensure seamless delivery
Stakeholder & Collaboration
Work closely with Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and Program Managers
Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and quality metrics to stakeholders
Defect & Release Management
Ensure effective defect tracking, triaging, and resolution
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive measures
Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution
Ensure smooth release validation and production deployment support
Required Skills & Qualifications
8-12+ years of experience in Quality Engineering / Software Testing
Strong experience in mobile application testing (iOS & Android)
Hands-on expertise in automation tools such as:
Appium, Selenium
Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, etc.)
Familiarity with test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, ALM)
Preferred Skills
Experience in retail domain
Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
Understanding of security and usability testing for mobile apps
Solid leadership and team management skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical ability
Effective communication and stakeholder management
Ability to work in fast-paced, delivery-driven environments
