Bank of China is seeking an energetic and highly motivated Assistant Treasury Manager / Treasury Manager (Liquidity Risk Management) to join the Sydney Office.
This is a Two Year Term Contract, with the possibility of becoming an on-going role after contract period has ended.
Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement the Bank's liquidity risk policies in relation to regulatory requirement, including liquidity risk management strategy, contingent funding plan, stress tests, etc.
Assessand recommend to management the level of risk tolerance that is appropriate to the Bank alongside the management strategy
Executionof timely measurement and monitoring of liquidity risk indicators as well as forecasting
Deliveraccurate, timely and analytical reporting, including regulation reports, reports to head office and internal reports
Provideinsightful analysis into the drivers of changes in risk profiles and the remediation plan
Developliquidity risk related KRI to guide business units and work with the lines of businesses to support their understanding of liquidity risk management and procedures
Complywith all relevant law, regulation, code and standard, and maintain and develop necessary levels of professional skills and current knowledge to excel in compliance duties
To be considered, possessing following skills and experience are essential:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
3-5 years of Banking/Liquidity risk management related experiencepreferred
Certified Practicing Accounts (CPA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) in Australia is preferred
Ability to develop detailed plan and organize variety of tasks and projects to achieve goals
Ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadline
Ability to get point of view across clearly and concisely
Ability to build excel models and prepare regulatory reports
Ability to provide analysis and useful insight
Excellent verbal and written language ability in both English and Mandarin
Candidates with robust treasury experience at Assistant Manager level are encouraged to apply
