Job Description
Our client, Mill St Kitchen, is looking for a qualified and experienced Cook to support its kitchen operations and prepare quality meals for dine-in and takeaway customers.

Cook
Responsibility
Prepare, season and cook food in a café and dining environment.
Duties
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and the café's menu;
Check the quality and freshness of food ingredients before preparation;
Operate ovens, grills and other cooking equipment and regulate appropriate cooking temperatures;
Portion and present meals with appropriate sauces, gravies and garnishes;




Prepare meals to accommodate special dietary requirements where required;
Assist with estimating food and ingredient requirements for kitchen operations;
Store and preserve food products using appropriate temperature-controlled facilities;
Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen setting; and
Follow food safety, OH&S; and other applicable hygiene requirements.
Qualification
AQF Certificate IV or higher;
1–3 years of relevant experience in related field.
Salary
$************ + Superannuation
