About the opportunity
As the Medicare Mental Health Manager you will provide clinicaloperational leadership across Footprints' Medicare Mental Health services,including establishing and operationalising new service locations whilemaintaining the performance, quality and sustainability of existing centres.
Reportingto the General Manager Service Operations, you will be accountable for ensuringservices are integrated, accessible, safe, person-led and responsive to localcommunity needs.
You will lead service mobilisation and ongoing operations,including project planning, workforce establishment, stakeholder engagement,service model implementation, financial oversight, governance and performancemonitoring.
You will work closely with internal teams, funding bodies, PrimaryHealth Networks, government agencies, health services and community partners toensure centres are established and operate safely, efficiently and inaccordance with contractual and organisational requirements.
You will lead a high-performing and collaborative serviceenvironment where people with lived experience contribute to service design andimprovement,
team members are supported to deliver contemporary practice andpartnerships strengthen pathways into and across the mental health system.
What you will bring:
Significant management experience withincommunity mental health, health, human services or another complex servicedelivery environment, including leadership of multidisciplinary and/ormulti-site services.
Demonstrated experience establishing, mobilisingor significantly redesigning a service or centre through structured project andchange management.
Advanced clinical practice and managementexperience relevant to the MMHC setting, including assessment, treatmentplanning, service delivery and risk management practice skills.
Strong knowledge of contemporary communitymental health practice, including recovery-oriented, person-led, culturallyresponsive, lived experience and integrated care principles.
Strong understanding of credentialling and scopeof practice requirements for peer and clinical workforce.
Demonstrated ability to build productivepartnerships and referral pathways with funders, health services, governmentagencies, community organisations and people with lived experience.
Demonstrated experience managing budgets,contracts, service data, compliance, risk and performance within a fundedservice environment.
Experience within Medicare Mental HealthCentres, Head to Health (desirable).
Requirements:
Current Queensland Class C Driver's Licence.
NDIS Worker Screening Check or current YellowCard and Blue Card.
Qualification as a Psychologist, Social Worker,Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Counsellor (ACA 4 or equivalent) andregistration or membership with a relevant professional association.
