About the role
We are seeking a reliable Paintmaker (Machine Operator) to join our production team. The successful candidate will operate the on‐site mixture machine to measure and mix raw materials, prepare equipment for batches, and ensure finished product meets client colour and texture specifications. This role is hands‐on and requires attention to detail and strong cleanliness practices between batches.
Key responsibilities
Measure and mix raw materials using the site mixture machine.
Prepare and set up equipment for different batches.
Check and confirm colour and texture meet PPG client requirements.




Clean and maintain machines between batches to ensure product quality and safety.
Record batch details and follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
Requirements
Preferred: prior experience with paint production, coatings, or chemical handling.
Ability to follow written procedures and quality specifications.
Strong attention to detail and good colour/texture judgement.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work the rostered hours.
Willingness to follow site safety rules and wear required PPE.
