Primo Foods is seeking a Time & Attendance Officer to join our People & Culture team in Wacol on a 12 month fixed term contract.
This role is responsible for supporting payroll and workforce timekeeping processes, ensuring accurate employee records, attendance data, and payroll-related administration across the business.
Working closely with site leaders, HR, Finance, and employees, you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance, meeting critical deadlines, and supporting day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process payroll-related time and attendance information in line with relevant Enterprise Agreements and Awards
Capture, report and validate labour hire hours and supplier invoices
Maintain accurate payroll records, pay levels and leave entitlements
Set up new employees in ADP and Kronos systems
Support payroll processing and ensure payroll deadlines are met
Respond to employee payroll and timekeeping enquiries
Calculate and process payroll adjustments and termination payments
Prepare and upload superannuation payments
Manage and maintain HR personnel records and files
Monitor and report payroll system or Kronos issues and support accurate overtime approvals




What You'll Bring
Experience processing payroll in a similar fast-paced environment
Strong experience with Kronos, ADP and SAP systems
Knowledge of employment legislation and payroll compliance requirements
Proven ability to build effective relationships with different stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving capability and ability to manage multiple deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication, with an ability to coach and influence
Positive attitude and continuous improvement mindset to enhance the employee experience through enhanced and collaborative ways of working
