ForestWorks is an industry owned not-for-profit organisation offering services to support the skills development of the forest, wood, paper, timber, furnishing and textile industries.
We work with businesses, government, industry associations, unions and the vocational education and training sector to assist our industries, their people, and enterprises in developing a highly skilled and qualified workforce.
Working in partnership with the Jobs and Skills Council (JSC), Skills Insight, ForestWorks provides industry stewardship, stakeholder engagement, workforce planning, research and project and product design and management services for the sectors we support.
We are seeking a
Digital Engagement Coordinator
to join our team, based in our
Carlton VIC
office. Reporting to the General Manager, this role is responsible for designing, implementing and evaluating digital engagement activities that strengthen stakeholder participation, improve communication reach and support meaningful two-way engagement across ForestWorks' industry and stakeholder networks.
The role supports the organisation's workforce planning, consultation and project activities by facilitating digital engagement opportunities, managing stakeholder feedback mechanisms, moderating virtual communities, maintaining engagement databases and analysing engagement performance data.
What you'll be doing
Designing and implementing digital engagement strategies and activities that support stakeholder participation across ForestWorks' sectors and projects including via newsletters, eDMs, social media, web updates, surveys,



pulse checks and targeted engagement activities.
Developing and coordinating targeted engagement approaches for stakeholders with low levels of digital participation, including workers, small businesses and underrepresented groups.
Capturing, analysing and reporting on stakeholder feedback to identify trends, issues and emerging priorities.
Collaborating with internal teams to promote consultation opportunities, workforce planning activities and project outcomes through digital channels.
Establishing, maintaining and moderating virtual communities, forums, networks and online discussion platforms.
Supporting stakeholder database uplift initiatives to improve data quantity, accuracy, completeness and usability.
Assisting with stakeholder segmentation and database reporting to support engagement planning and targeted communications.
Tracking, monitoring and reporting on digital engagement performance metrics, including reach, participation, coverage, satisfaction and responsiveness.
Identifying opportunities to improve engagement effectiveness, stakeholder participation and communication outcomes.
Monitoring emerging digital engagement tools,



platforms and best practices and recommending innovative approaches to enhance stakeholder engagement, participation and data collection.
What we're looking for
Min. 3 years' experience coordinating digital engagement, stakeholder communications or community consultation activities.
Experience managing online communities, digital platforms or stakeholder networks.
Experience administering surveys, stakeholder feedback activities and engagement reporting, including use of survey platforms such as MS Forms, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics or similar.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to develop engaging and accessible digital content.
Ability to analyse stakeholder feedback and engagement data to identify trends and key insights.
Strong organisational skills and high-level attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, CRM systems and digital engagement platforms.
Experience working within workforce development, vocational education and training (VET), skills, employment or industry engagement environments advantageous.
Experience with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI advantageous.
