About the role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join ourpreeminent Public Law team.
In this role, you will provideessential administrative support to two of our award-winningPartners Briana Eastaugh and Terry Montebello, and a team ofskilled lawyers.
There is plenty of variety in this role, with the keyresponsibilities including:
Administrative Support:
Email and diarymanagement, coordination of internal and externalmeetings/functions and booking travel
File Management:
Opening and closing ofmatters including e-filing and physical archiving via AderantExpert (billing) and iManage (document management) systems
Document Preparation:
Creating, drafting,editing and formatting a range of documents
Billing & Reporting:
Time entry,preparation and processing of monthly invoices
Client Management:
Maintaining the team'sclient database
About you
You will be a proactive and passionate team member, who canmaintain ownership of their role in a busy environment where no twodays are the same.
You will need to be able to demonstrateinitiative, a willingness to learn, and display confidence andenthusiasm in completing all tasks.
Above all we are looking forsomeone who is collaborative and proactive.
In addition to this, you will bring:
Experience -
at least 2 years experiencein administration or a similar role
Communication -
excellent interpersonalskills, can confidently engage with clients and colleagues atall levels
Proactive Approach -
a self-starter,
withthe ability to adapt and remain organised in a dynamicenvironment
Attention to detail - a
ble to produceaccurate, high-quality work within set timeframes
Technical Skills -
proficient withMicrosoft Office Suite (experience with iManage and AderantExpert is highly regarded)
