The Role
We are seeking an experienced
Radiographer
to join our team on-site in Baulkham Hills. In this role, you will perform and supervise high-quality imaging procedures while leading clinical workflow and maintaining strict radiation safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Imaging & Support:
Perform and oversee X-ray, CT, BMD, and ultrasound-assisted procedures. Support interventional cases including biopsies and pain management.
Workflow & Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day clinical operations, mentor junior radiographers and technical staff, and ensure efficient patient flow.
Collaboration:
Partner closely with senior radiologists and referring clinicians to ensure timely, accurate diagnostic outcomes.
Quality & Safety:
Perform routine equipment QC checks, troubleshoot technical issues, adhere to radiation protection protocols,
and lead patient safety initiatives including DIAS requirements.
Administration:
Maintain detailed, accurate imaging records and clinical documentation within RIS/PACS.
Candidate Requirements
Education & Registration:
Tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging / Radiography with current registration (or immediate eligibility) with the relevant professional body.
Clinical Expertise:
Proven track record in diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures within a clinical or radiology practice setting.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to guide, support, and mentor junior technical staff while maintaining workflow efficiency.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with modern imaging equipment, PACS, and RIS software.
Safety & Standards:
In-depth understanding of radiation safety principles, quality control, and clinical governance.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach to care and team-oriented teamwork.
Salary:
An attractive salary commensurate with experience ($***** – $*****+ / hr , negotiable based on modality expertise and experience track record).
