We are looking for a reliable and professional
MR Truck Driver / Factory Hand
to join our team.
Hours & Pay
$***** per hour
Monday to Thursday:
6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Friday:
6:00 am – 12:00 noon
This is a
permanent, full-time position
with no weekend work.
About the Role
This is a varied role combining driving with some factory work.
You will complete our regular
Gold Coast–Brisbane truck run approximately 3–4 days per week
, delivering and collecting goods from our established commercial customers.
On days when the truck run is not required, you will assist our production team in the electroplating factory.
Our deliveries are primarily palletised freight, with forklifts used for loading and unloading wherever possible, keeping manual handling to a minimum.
You will drive a
well-maintained Hino 300 flat-tray truck
and return to our Arundel factory each day.
Your Responsibilities
Your duties will include:
Completing deliveries and pickups between the Gold Coast and Brisbane approximately 3–4 days per week
Safely securing and transporting palletised products
Delivering to our regular commercial customers and providing friendly, professional service
Loading and unloading using a forklift
Completing vehicle pre-start inspections
Keeping the truck clean, tidy and roadworthy




Accurately completing delivery and collection documentation
Communicating with customers and our factory throughout the day
Promptly reporting any vehicle defects, delivery issues or delays
Assisting in the factory when the truck run is not required
Assisting with racking metal products in preparation for electroplating
Learning new skills within the business, with opportunities to develop into other areas
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious and takes pride in their work and in representing their employer.
To be considered, you will need:
A current
MR Driver Licence
A current
Forklift Licence
A safe driving history
Good knowledge of the road network between the Gold Coast and Brisbane
Good communication and customer service skills
A professional and friendly manner
The ability to work independently and manage your day efficiently
A willingness to assist with factory duties when required
A reliable, practical and team-focused attitude
