This is an outstanding opportunity for experienced Specialist Anaesthetists seeking to join a modern regional referral hospital committed to clinical excellence, education and patient-centred care.
The Role: As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will provide high-quality anaesthetic and perioperative care across a broad range of surgical specialties while working within an experienced multidisciplinary team.
You will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while contributing to education, departmental development and clinical governance.
Delivering high-quality anaesthetic services across elective and emergency surgery
Providing perioperative assessment and optimisation of patients
Supporting theatre efficiency and perioperative planning
Participating in the on-call roster
Supervising Anaesthetic Registrars, Junior Medical Officers and medical students
Contributing to multidisciplinary perioperative care
Participating in quality improvement, clinical governance and service development initiatives
Supporting teaching, education and continuing professional development within the department
