We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and passionate
Casual Dog Daycare Attendant & Taxi Driver
to join our growing team.
This is an active, hands-on role suited to someone who loves working outdoors, enjoys being part of a supportive team, and wants to make a genuine difference in dogs' lives.
About the role
This role combines dog daycare, transport and general property care. A typical day may include:
Driving the Field Dayz Dog Taxi to safely collect and drop off dogs.
Safely loading and unloading dogs of various sizes and temperaments.
Supervising dogs during outdoor play and ensuring safe, positive interactions.
Monitoring dog behaviour, body language and wellbeing throughout the day.
Managing groups of dogs, including extra large and reactive dogs.
Maintaining a clean, safe and enjoyable environment for dogs and staff.
Cleaning vehicles, equipment and outdoor areas.
Communicating professionally with clients during pick-up and drop-off.
This position involves working outdoors in all weather conditions and being physically active throughout the day.
About you
We are looking for someone who is:
Energetic and physically fit.
Reliable, punctual and committed.
Confident working with dogs of all sizes, including extra large and reactive dogs, or willing to learn.
Passionate about dog behaviour, welfare and providing the best possible care.




A solid communicator who works well with both people and dogs.
Able to take initiative and work independently when required.
A positive team player who is willing to get involved in all aspects of the day.
Experience & requirements
Essential:
Full Australian driver's licence.
Confidence driving and handling dogs safely.
Ability to work an active role involving walking, lifting, cleaning and outdoor work.
A genuine interest in learning about dog behaviour and safe handling.
Experience in dog daycare, boarding kennels, animal care, training, rescue, veterinary environments or similar roles is highly regarded, but a willingness to learn and the right attitude are equally important.

Position details
Casual position.
3–4 weekdays per week, approximately 8:00am–5:00pm.
Additional weekend opportunities may be available.
Competitive casual hourly rate.
