Our Heritage NSW team is currently seeking to appoint a
Manager Heritage Programs
to work with a management team to lead the delivery of the State Heritage Register listing program that protects, commemorates or celebrates Aboriginal and environmental heritage across NSW.
About you
We are seeking a heritage professional who is passionate about protecting and promoting the rich cultural, Aboriginal and environmental heritage of NSW.
You will bring experience in heritage, archaeology, architecture, Aboriginal cultural heritage management or a related field, with a track record of leading teams and delivering complex programs in a dynamic setting. You are a strong communicator that can provide sound advice on heritage management issues and apply your knowledge to achieve practical and sustainable outcomes. Experience interpreting heritage legislation, undertaking assessments and working with diverse stakeholders will be highly regarded.
You are a collaborative, customer-focused and solutions-oriented influential leader who builds strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. Comfortable navigating complex and sometimes sensitive issues, you balance competing priorities and bring a proactive, practical approach to delivering quality outcomes for communities and heritage across NSW.

Key knowledge and experience
Demonstrated experience in conservation and/or program management.
Essential requirements
Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in heritage, archaeology, Aboriginal cultural heritage or related field.
Current NSW Driver Licence and ability and willingness to travel throughout the state when required.
