The Opportunity
Our Medical Law team acts for clients who have suffered catastrophic back injuries, cosmetic injuries, birth injuries, delayed diagnosis of illness, and children with cerebral palsy.
We are seeking a
Medical‐Legal Consultant
on a permanent basis in our Brisbane CBD office, working Monday and Friday, 8:15am – 5:00pm.
Responsibilities
Conduct initial client interviews, building a trusting relationship.
Work closely with the Medical Law team to deliver excellent client care.
Partner with the contact centre team to identify current opportunities and manage enquiries to resolution.
Initiate and nurture robust, quality relationships with clients and assist them in gaining access to local support.
Proactively manage post‐interview activities, such as drafting medical chronologies and supporting legal documentation.
What you'll bring
Progression towards or completed qualifications in Biomedical Science and/or Laws is preferred.
A working knowledge of medical terminology, medical guidelines, practices and protocols.
Tenacity for complex problem‐solving, and a natural curiosity to listen to clients to determine the right pathway to assistance.




Demonstrated phone‐based customer service experience for clients who have experienced varying degrees of trauma.
Availability to work Monday and Friday, 8:15am – 5:00pm from our Brisbane CBD office each week.
