Cook/Chef – Casual Position

We are seeking an experienced Cook to join our busy kitchen team. This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a rapid paced environment and takes pride in producing high quality meals.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items to a consistent standard following recipe
Assist with daily food preparation and stock rotation
Maintain comprehensive product knowledge including ingredients, equipment, and current food trends
Provide input into new dishes
Store and label food correctly according to hygiene and safety standards and to control and minimise waste and loss
Check the presentation of menu items before serving Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen




Follow food safety and hygiene procedures
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team during peak service times
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in a commercial kitchen
AQF Certificate IV (or equivalent) in Commercial Cookery or Kitchen Management
Strong understanding of food safety standards
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality
Availability for weekend and evening shifts
