About the Role We have an exciting chance for a Reporting Insights Analyst within the Data space!
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, preparing reports and dashboards, and delivering high-quality outputs for clients in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for someone who can look beyond the task, question whether the data makes sense, identify issues early, and think through the impact of the work before it reaches clients.
You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Roy Morgan's ongoing data transformation initiatives, helping shape how we deliver data and reporting into the future.
A key part of this role is working within established reporting processes while looking for better ways to work.
It will suit someone who is motivated by change, comfortable taking ownership, and able to make sound decisions without needing every step spelled out.

What you'll do Produce and maintain regular and ad-hoc client reports using in-house software and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI Work with existing reporting frameworks and templates to deliver consistent, high-quality outputs Check data from different sources to make sure it is accurate, complete and suitable for reporting Question results that look unusual and investigate potential issues before reports are finalised Apply judgement when reviewing outputs, making sure the data is consistent, logical and clearly explained Create clear, visually engaging dashboards and presentations for clients Work with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver to deadlines Troubleshoot data and reporting issues as they arise Maintain strong quality control across all reporting deliverables About you At least 3+ years of relevant experience in reporting, data analysis, research, business analysis, operations,
quality assurance or a related field Experience using Tableau or Power BI, with a willingness to learn other tools as needed Ideally, experience with data modelling and a strong understanding of reporting best practices Ability to understand how data is structured, how it should be used, and when something does not look right Strong attention to detail and confidence checking that data and outputs are correct before they are shared Strong time management skills with the ability to manage recurring deliverables and competing deadlines Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to question assumptions, investigate inconsistencies and make practical recommendations Motivated to improve the way work is done, with the confidence to think independently and suggest better approaches Strong communication skills and ability to translate data into meaningful client insights Ability to work well with people across different disciplines, bringing together technical, client, research and operational perspectives This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys structured reporting work but is not limited by process.
It is a good fit for someone who can take ownership, check their own work carefully, think through problems independently and contribute to meaningful change in how data and reporting are delivered.
