Secure Monday to Friday work with Overtime Available Permanent Full Time Role ***** Truck Driving and Yardman Role Smith and Co Recruitment are looking for experienced Truck Drivers to work for one of Australia's leading manufacturers of heavy-duty semi-trailers and trasnport equipment.
You will have a number of responsibilites that starts predominately with Truck Driving whilst also being expected to be the face of the business and complete any yard work when not out on the road.
Key Responsibilities: Driving duties include coupling and uncoupling up to 40+ trailers per day Trailer pick up and delivery as required localt with some rural coverage Yard work and trailer relocation ensuring yard areas are clean and safe Assist in the workshop as a Trade Assistant when required Communicate relevant information and customer enquires to the appropriate departments Adhere to road laws,



state regulations and safety protocol at all times Ensure proper and correct PPE is worn Maintain proper presentation and usage of the company equipment Keep and maintain service and maintenance records Always represent the company in a qualified and courteous manner Job Details Pay rates: Between $40-$50 p/h + Overtime, Penalties Hours: Monday to Friday : 7:30am-3:36pm Location: Salisbury Position: Full Time Role Key Requirements: Proven Experience as a truck driver with a HC or MC licence A Mechanical trade cert or mechanical experience (desirable) Forklift ticket (desirable) First Aid Certificate (desirable) Ability to operate a variety of vehicle and machinery safely Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Ability to manage and prioritse tasks Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and service record keeping Clean driving history and record How to Apply If you think you are a strong candidate for this role.
