1. Job Title: Pool Shop Administration Assistant (General Clerk) Reports To: Store Manager / Business Owner Location: Darwin, NT Job Type: Full-time Salary: $***** to $***** Job Summary We are seeking an organized, reliable Pool Shop Retail Administration Assistant to join our team in Darwin .
In this role, you will keep our office operations running smoothly using Xero, while also providing excellent customer service on the shop floor.
If you have sharp attention to detail, strong local customer service skills, and a knack for numbers, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities Xero Management: Process supplier invoices, reconcile accounts, track payments, and manage day-to-day bookkeeping.
Financial Admin: Reconcile daily point-of-sale (POS) registers and manage trade customer accounts.
Inventory Control: Log incoming pool chemicals, pumps, and accessories; update the inventory system; and track supplier orders.
Customer Support: Answer phone enquiries regarding pool bookings, respond to emails, and book in jobs for our mobile pool technicians.
Shop Floor Support: Greet customers, test pool water samples (training provided), and sell chemicals and equipment on the retail floor.
Requirements and Qualifications Xero Experience: Proven, hands-on experience using Xero for bookkeeping or admin is essential.
Retail Background: Previous experience in a retail environment (pool shop or hardware industry experience is a major bonus).
Tech Skills: Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel) and modern retail POS software.
Local Insight: Strong communication skills suited for a diverse Darwin clientele.
Reliability: Excellent time management with a proven track record of punctuality.

2. Job Title: Pool Service Technician Reports To: Store Manager / Service Manager Location: Darwin, NT Job Type: Full-time Salary: $***** to $***** Job Summary We are seeking a hardworking, physically fit Pool Service Technician to join our team in Darwin .
This is a hands-on, active role where you will support our retail, warehouse, and mobile service teams.
If you enjoy manual work, don't mind getting your hands dirty, and want a reliable job in the pool industry, this role is for you.
No prior pool experience is required.
Key Responsibilities Go to customers' house, be polite and courteous to customer Respect customers property as it can be unattended Cleaning and maintaining pool Use of chemicals Heavy lifting involved 25kg+ Bending over,
picking leaves up from around pool area Move heavy stock from the warehouse to the retail floor.
Unload incoming delivery trucks containing salt bags, chlorine drums, and equipment.
Fitting and installing pool equipment Finding leaks Driving to jobs unsupervised Stocking shelves Filling out work book Assist senior pool technicians with heavy tasks on-site, like emptying large filters or carrying equipment.
Packing car up with chemicals and equipment Keeping car clean and in a professional manner (inside and out) Cleaning shed and reorganizing.

Key Responsibilities Learn the Trade:
Shadow senior technicians to learn water chemistry and equipment troubleshooting.

Water Testing: Use mobile test kits to check chemical balance and safely apply treatments.
Equipment Care: Assist with basic maintenance on pumps, filters, and chlorinators.

4. Job Title: Warehouse Workshop Assistant (Pool Shop) Location: Darwin, NT Job Type: Full-time Reports To: Store / Operations Manager Salary: $***** to $***** Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, physically fit Warehouse Workshop Assistant to join our team in Darwin .
In this active role, you will manage our stock inventory, dispatch orders, and assist with basic pool equipment repairs and servicing in our on-site workshop.
If you enjoy hands-on mechanical work, staying organized, and working in a fast-paced team environment, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities Stock Management: Receive, unload, and check incoming stock deliveries, including heavy chemical drums and pool equipment.
Inventory Control: Organize warehouse shelves, safely store pool chemicals, and conduct regular stocktakes.
Workshop Repairs: Assist with diagnosing, testing, and performing basic repairs on pool pumps, chlorinators, and robotic cleaners.
Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack stock orders for our retail shop floor and load service vans for our mobile technicians.
