The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Rathgar Lodge, North Coast Region. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about food and service, with availability required across weekends and various shifts.
In this role, you will support the preparation and delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining excellent kitchen and food service standards.
What You Will Bring
Experience in planning, preparing, and cooking fresh meals.
Skills in table service and general kitchen duties, including cleaning and clearing.
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or bulk food preparation environment (desirable).
Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance.
Experience in aged care settings (desirable).
Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
Strong communication skills.
A motivated team player with a positive attitude.
Flexibility to work across various shifts and days.
