The Office of Field Experiences (OFE) manages all field placements for RCOE students. Whether you're preparing for teaching, counseling, or family therapy, these experiences connect coursework with professional practice and help you build confidence in your future career.
Field Experiences for Teacher Education Programs – Learn what courses you need to take to prepare you for experience in the classroom and requirements for your clinical internship (student teaching).Field Experiences for Counseling, Leadership, and Studies Programs – Gain experience in a professional setting. Some programs require clinical field experience, while others strongly recommend it for a well-rounded educational experience and career readiness.
Criminal Background Check
All students participating in education and counseling field experiences must complete a Criminal Background Check (CBC).
Reports are valid for six months.
Students must ensure their CBC is current before beginning any placement.
